Celebrate Spring with Jazz Guitar!

Spring into action!

Yeah I know, that’s corny, but I’m a guitarist, not really a writer.  Besides, it’s been a long cold winter and it looks like it’s finally over.  Hope that you’ll come out to enjoy some live music and celebrate to arrival of spring with us at a couple gigs coming up in the next week.

But first I want to thank everyone who came out to our gig at the Bar Next Door last week.  I had a fantastic time playing with Harvie S (bass) and Joe Strasser (drums).  If you weren’t able to catch us, we hope you’ll enjoy a couple of the tunes that are now up on Youtube. Please give us a thumbs-up, leave a comment and share them.  Thanks!

Sunday, March 15th – Jazz Brunch at the City Crab

This Sunday, March 15th from Noon-4:00pm, join bassist Dave Kingsnorth and myself for an afternoon of jazz standards (and we’ll even play some songs about Spring).  The food is excellent and there’s no cover.  City Crab is located at 235 Park Avenue South (at 19th Street), NYC. https://www.facebook.com/events/1408080039499320/

Thursday, March 19th – at the Garage

Thursday, March 19th (the Eve of Spring!) join the Rick Stone Trio at the Garage Restaurant & Cafe.  Always a pleasure to play with bassist Harvie S and drummer Jason Tiemann.  Expect a few surprise guests as well.  So come on in, have a drink and/or dinner and enjoy a great night of music and friends!  We look forward to seeing YOU!  Music from 7:00-11:00pm.  The Garage is located at 99 7th Avenue South (corner of Grove Street), New York, NY.
